Our
Story

The Free Korean Association stands as a testament to the resilience and determination of North Korean refugees who found a new home in America. Founded in collaboration with these brave individuals, our organization emerged from a shared commitment to shedding light on the untold stories of those who suffered under the North Korean regime.

Our journey is deeply intertwined with the personal experiences of North Korean refugees who escaped unimaginable hardships. Through the trials of escape, the loss of loved ones, and the pursuit of freedom, our members have found strength in unity and a renewed purpose – advocating for the rights of those left behind.

The creation of this memorial project is not just a commitment to remembering the nameless victims; it's a chapter in our ongoing story of resilience, hope, and the unwavering pursuit of justice. Join us as we share our collective narrative, standing together to ensure that the stories of North Korean refugees and the countless silent voices are heard and honored.
